Can anyone please explain me about ground.f? In phoenics if we wanna run a case, we need to prepare q1 according to the purpose. But how is about ground.f? Is it automatically modified during the build up of q1 file for a specific run? Yesterday I read a research paper that contains q1 file as well as ground.f file. When I replace both q1 and ground.f file in the directory and ran phoenics, it said that GRND setting is not ok. So, I think the problem is with (ground.f) that is supplied with q1 file. But, I don't know the creating method of ground.f file.

Hope I will get some good discussion here. Thanks everybody.

You need to compile and build the executable using your ground.f (in the ancient version I used there were scripts named compile and bldear for these tasks). You thus create an earexe file, which is your executable. If built properly, and the q1 is appropriate - it should run correctly.

In the ancient version I used (v3.2 dated 1999), there were scripts to build the earth executable by compiling main.f and ground.f and linking. I am not familiar with the 2006 version. Try to see the documentation or contact CHAM.
