prism didn't creat prism.uns

i creat unstructure mesh by robost at the first and then creat quick mesh by exciting mesh .
but when I choose quick mesh,apperar an error for prism layers and icem cann't creat prism layers as for robost mesh without any problem prism layers creats.i found this error in commond window Errorrism didn't creat prism.uns how i can fix it ? thanks for answers. |

Maybe it's too late for an answer But I got the same error. After long searching I found out, that for some reason there were only curves added to part and not surfaces! That caused the error in my case.

This happened to me as well. In my case it was because the file was partially saved. Try resetting the whole mesh parameters etc.
Also, in my case, the prism layers failed, when the name of the saved prj. file contained signs (in my case I used "+"). All the best Last edited by tzivinik; June 6, 2017 at 09:09. |

Underscores "_" are fine in the name.
If you want to use the unstructured mesher, select the points, curves and surfaces of the geometry to be meshed. Make sure to choose the correct Input option (all, visible, part by part) to achieve this. |
