Hello all,
I created a 2D mesh for an airfoil using ICEM. Since CFX needs a 3D mesh I followed someone's advice here on this forum and simply extruded the mesh. Now the problem is that when I try to define the boundaries in CFX pre, I have no surfaces to work with. I have searched this forum to find a solution but I was not successful. Could anyone help me with this? Thanks. |

you need to select the required boundary mesh elements using "Primitive region option"
1. from model tree, select the mesh and then right click-->insert--> "Primitive region", for more detail CFX-pre user's guide // CFX-Pre User's Guide // 10. Regions // 10.4. Editing Regions in CFX-Pre // 10.4.1. Defining and Editing Primitive Regions |
