Hi

I am a new user of CFX 5. I am a newbie to CFD also. I generated mesh using ICEM CFD mesher. I want to import that mesh in to CFX (CFX 5.4.1). I tried to follow their tutorial and converted file for CFX input. But i dont see any DB files or Defination files. if anyone knows how to import mesh from ICEM CFD into CFX, pls help.

thanks in advance -Jay

Create a new database and select "Import Mesh" mode. Click on the "Import" button to import your mesh.

By default icem exports a file called "cfx5" (you could change that name) and you can import that file as Robin described.
