Issue importing surface pressures to shell element for 1-way FSI

Hi, I am new to CFD and am really struggling finding a solution to my problem.

I have attached a PDF explaining my issue for full clarity.

In short:

I can't successfully import pressure values from either CFX or FLUENT onto each side of a shell element in ANSYS mechanical without direction errors.

I'm thinking the solution is to make my model a 2D rotating blade element in CFX and import pressures - but I cant get such a model to work - is it possible?

I'd be very grateful for any advice, thanks.

I am no expert on FSI, but some comments:

Have you checked the shell elements you are using support FSI? Not all shell element types support FSI.

Also read the CFX documentation on FSI and system coupling. There is lots of detail in the documentation.

Hi, I believe the issue was as simple as changing the scale on one of the imported pressures to -1 rather than 1
