I have been working to create a simulation with a moving mesh that moves quite a large distance. Currently this is the break down of my simulation

Simulation begins
Interruption control when min orthogonal angle reached
Remesh configuration
- User defined
- Its kinda funny how it works but long story short, when remesh kicks in, it opens my workbench project that contains the geometry and mesh. I change a parameter defining the translation so far update the files save it and close. When work bench closes it reads the new mesh file (created by workbench) interpolates values and continues the simulation.

This may repeat as many times as needed until the simulation has finished.

What i would like to do is only remesh part of the full domain. As it stands there is an inner and an outer domain. The inner domain's mesh does not deform so to reduce computational time and errors due to interpolation, i would like to only remesh the outer domain.
There is a setting in the remesh configuration for "Location" however even when i only specify the outer domain the full mesh is replaced. Does anyone know how to fix this.
