hi..
my name is Dziyad. I will do research about CFD analysis for biomass gasification. I will use particle surface reaction. i will use c(s) as particle, but i have problem about how to set the inlet for surface reaction. Would you like to give me some suggestions.

Thank you very much

Hi, I am also initiating work on gasification and towards the same I am working out with single particle analysis. I wanted to know how did you define the solid particle? I mean if suppose we have a sphere then do you treat the sphere as a wall or is there a different philosophy altogether?

Thanks in advance

i define the solid particle as combusting material using Discrete Phase Model. But when i iterate it, there is no combustion occur. i can't solve it yet

Please have you been able to rectify this problem where no reaction occurs when particle surface reaction is selected in Fluent
