i'm obviously doing something wrong but i'm to much of a newbie to know how to fix it

cool i've nailed the bashrc problem but it still isn't recognising commands such as blockMesh
i think its because the gcc compiler is out of date or something like that |

If you make sure your directory structure is exactly like
http://www.opencfd.co.uk/openfoam/linux.html and then unpack (tar xzf ...) all, the whole setup should work once you do that . /home1/me/mea02jgp/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.3/.OpenFOAM-1.3/bashrc |

is there any way to change the install path?
i tried messing with the bashrc file in .openfoam-1.2 but that dosen't seem to have worked |
