Hy guys ...
I am trying to use FLuent to get Cd around a cylinder, the Re = 150 and the viscous model is Laminar, but the result is different of experimental result. The simulation get a Cd = 1.1 but the real Cd = 1.5. Can anybody help me? Thank you. |

hello MVAZ
can you please give some more information about your problem: 1. you are using Circular Cylinder or Square Cylinder ? with dimensions i.e. Diameter or size ? 2. size of the flow domain around cylinder (If you are considering Un-Confined Flow) 3. Fluid using for simulation i.e. AIR, WATER etc.... Regards Dev..... |
