HI ALL,i'm simulating flow over a circular cylinder and its VIV, i found there are numerous papers related this, of course, some kind of very useful papers i couldn't access(p.s. below).

what i care is that there are some benchmark(experiments/mumerical modes) about this? i need guidance and some things truely can be referrence.

if there is no benchmark(i think so), please recommend some good papers.

thank you!!

below are some papers i think good but cannot access:

I have this paper which is a very good reference including sets of results obtained by several research groups for 2D and 3D laminar flow around a Cylinder.

"Benchmark Computations of Laminar Flow Around a Cylinder" M. Sch¨afera and S. Turekb

If you're interested send me an email and I'll send it to you. Or try www.scirus.com, it's a very good search engine for scientific information only. I think that I founded it there but I'm not sure

Good Luck

Any good notes, ppt or pdf of the formulation for flow over cylinder using finite difference method?. I try to simulate but i don't know what to be put for the boundary condition, initial condition, the governing equation. If anybody have good notes or the details for flow over cylinder at low Reynolds number, please share with me..

Thanks,
anyway please send the benchmark computation to my email defog171@gmail.com
