Hi
1. Does anybody know: how accurate VOF model can simulate slug flows? After 6 month I could get my first air-water slugs, but the length of the slugs and the shape of them are not like what I wanted. 2. And also flow do not follow Backer chart precisely. I mean that I do not get slug flows for the superficial velocities that are reported in Backer chart for slug flows 3. The interface shape is also not accurate. Any comment would be appreciated in advance. P.S. Setup:FLUENT 6.3 - VOF- LAMINAR - VERY FINE MESH - dt=10^-7 sec!! - air-water flow- Microchannel. |
