hello all, I've downloaded and installed a copy of NSC2KE (written by Bijan Mohammadi of INRIA in france) which is a freeware CFD code which solves RANS/euler eqtns in 2-d with k-e model (using a choice of wall functions). i find the code is quite good especially since it gives the choice of various upwind schemes (Roe, Osher, or Kinetic) and can be run with adaptive mesh. however the postprocessing is done via gnuplot which is insufficient for what i'd like to do. has anyone used this program and modified it to produce output for another graphics program (preferably TECPLOT)? i'd try to modify it myself except the code is written in F77 with french (!) comments so my ability to do that would be limited since i know neither language. can someone help?

(1). Find a French girl friend or pen pal, who is familiar with Fortran. Then you can use e-mail to do translation and programming. (2).Find a PC translation program (from French to English and vice versa), then you should be able to get the comments translated. (3). Get some programming help from the company selling Tecplot, they should be able to tell you the input file format of Tecplot. (if you get them interested in your problem, maybe they can decode the output format for you.) (4). We are still using F77, it is essential that anyone touching CFD (whether writing or using CFD codes) must have "thorough understanding and hands-on experience of the Fortran language". (5). Well, you are free to try any combination of above methods. Have a Nice Trip.
