hi dear Foamers
I simulated my case as a porous medium with porousSimpleFoam just adding an energy equation to it. I got the data of U and T. I decided to present entropy generation either. what should I do for plotting entropy just by T and U data? Is there any solver for this case or not? please help me in this case best regards Mohsen |

Hi Mohsen,
AFAIK, OpenFOAM only provides entropy calculations for simulations that use the thermodynamics modelling part of OpenFOAM. Here's a thread on this topic: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-openfoam.html Best regards, Bruno

Hi Mohsen,
I see that you've begun approaching the possible solution here: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...eneration.html It's essentially what I was going to ask and suggest, namely:
Best regards, Bruno
