How to fix a node on intermediate spline's vertex

Someone knows if it's possible to fix a node on a intermediate vertex of a spline? In this way I can create, for example, 2 different blocks connected with only 1 contiguous block with matching meshes without using "cpmatch" (I've a very big and complex mesh, and cpmach seems to be very slow). I've tried with "blktrace", but this command seems to modify separately each one block of the selected blockset, so I've to produce on the biggest block a mesh fitted on the coarsest mesh of the small lateral blocks. Thank you! Luca
