Default turbulent quantity goes -ve for intermediate run

I have a viscous solution on very high mach over a bluff body, I try to run a turbulent code(compressible density based) using this solution as initial. After a few iterations or so my turbulent quantity goes negative, it happens with SA model and also with SST model. I tried to reduce CFD number (as low as 0.05) but it did not help...what could be the reason and is there any remedy?
