Hi,

I'd like to run a external flow simulation of a vehicle under cornering conditions.

I can set up geometry such as vehicle roll in CAD no problem but I believe I need a fluid domain in which the air moves radially, just as the track's relative motion would be observed by a driver looking down.

Does anyone know how this could be done in star-ccm+? Are there any relevant tutorials or similar to look at?

Best regards to all,
Anton

Are you doing this in steady state? If so you don't really need radial velocity, you just need to put the car in yaw.
