Description:
The annual OpenFOAM® Workshop is the premier international forum for
researchers, industrial users, code developers, consultants and academics to
come together and present their work, discuss the code, network, and learn about
new developments in OpenFOAM®. It is a community event, welcoming all users
from novice to experienced, and users of all branches of the code.
The University of Exeter is pleased to welcome the 12th OpenFOAM® Workshop to
Exeter from the 24th – 27th July 2017.
Following tradition there are three elements to the Workshop;
A Training Day providing free training from some of the top users and developers
of the code. No matter your level – from beginner to advanced – come and learn
how to use the code more effectively!
The main Conference – plenary and parallel sessions presenting cutting edge
research and the latest developments in the code. Submit an abstract to present
your work as a presentation or poster, or just come along to see what others are
doing.
The Community day, which is an opportunity for more informal discussions and
presentations in areas of interest, such as Wave-Structure Interaction and
Turbomachinery.
The OpenFOAM® Workshop is the ideal forum to exchange views and experiences
about developments in OpenFOAM®; network with users and programmers with
similar interests and establish work partnerships; improve your skills through the
free training sessions, and learn how to contribute to OpenFOAM® and to the
community of OpenFOAM users. We look forward to welcoming you to Exeter!
OPENFOAM® is a registered trade mark of OpenCFD Limited, producer and
distributor of the OpenFOAM software.
