In this CFD workshop, Flow Science Senior CFD Engineer, John Wendelbo, will introduce water & environmental simulation workflows using FLOW-3D. The workshop includes a mix of lectures and A-Z model setup tutorials including post-processing analysis using FlowSight. Key modeling features include open channel free surface hydraulics, scour & sediment deposition, and wastewater recovery facility topics. Materials are formulated so that no prior experience of CFD modeling is necessary. The workshop will be held at Brown and Caldwell’s office in Seattle, Washington on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, Brown and Caldwell is a privately-held, 100 percent environmental firm with 1,500+ professionals serving clients locally and globally from 45 locations.
