FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS has released version 4.2.1 of its geometry modeling, CFD automation and optimization software CAESES.
Based on the fantastic feedback and excellent findings from our users, we have been able to fix a set of issues to further improve the software quality. There are also some new features that came in as user wishes which have been added to make your work with CAESES a better experience.
What can you expect? Besides general improvements for the parametric modeling and optimization methods, we have worked on several specific user requests. There is a new displacement calculation for unconventional ship hull forms like multi-hulls, an improved handling of invalid designs during automated shape optimizations, new curve modeling capabilities and a streamlined CAESES-OpenFOAM connection. Check out our changes log for all details.
