TwinMesh 2017 - New Release Launched

We at CFX Berlin are excited to let you know that we just released the new TwinMesh version 2017.

For those of you who do not know TwinMesh already: TwinMesh is a unique meshing software especially designed for reliable CFD analysis of rotating positive displacement (PD) machines. TwinMesh is complementary to ANSYS CFD software and drives real innovation in the field of PD machines helping engineers to realize a faster time-to-market, higher machine quality, longer durability, and decreasing development costs.

Here is a list of the main new features and improvements in the TwinMesh 2017:

New machine types: vane pump, rotary piston pump
PD machines with variable rotor pitch
Additional unstructured mesher for axial gaps
User defined node distribution in axial direction
Automatic Pre- and Post-processing
General improvements in workflow to ensure faster turnaround times
