We are pleased to announce that the 2018 FLOW-3D European Users Conference will be held at Le Méridien Stuttgart Hotel in Stuttgart, Germany on May 14 – 16, 2018. The conference will be co-hosted by Flow Science Deutschland. We welcome FLOW-3D and FLOW-3D CAST users and those interested in learning more about the software to attend the conference.
The call for abstracts is now open. Share your experiences, present your success stories and obtain valuable feedback from your fellow FLOW-3D and FLOW-3D CAST users and Flow Science engineers. Abstracts should include a title, author and a 200 word description. Please email your abstract to info@flow3d.com. The deadline to submit an abstract is Friday, March 30. Both the registration and training fees will be waived for presenters.
Advanced training will be offered on Monday, May 14. Attendees can choose from two tracks: Metal Casting and Water & Environmental. The Metal Casting track will be taught by Matthias Todte, an expert in the field of metal casting simulation. The course will focus on best practices for setting up models and interpreting results, including defect identification. Attendees will gain hands-on experience with the new FLOW-3D CAST v5 and learn best practices, tips and tricks to get the most of out of their simulations. The Water & Environmental track, taught by John Wendelbo, Director of Sales at Flow Science will explore many facets of a real-world case study of a fishway passage flow analysis, including best practice model setup, detailed validation and verification procedures, and advanced post-processing data analysis and visualization.
