Water resource and environmental engineers, city planners, consultants, and hydraulic modelers at all career levels are invited to join us to learn how FLOW-3D is used to model free surfaces in dam and spillway designs, CSO structures and wastewater recovery facilities, river and environmental flows, breakwaters, fish passages, and more.

Workshop attendees will gain familiarity with the FLOW-3D user interface and some of the more complex physical models commonly applied to water simulations, such as air entrainment, sediment scour, heat transfer, and 2D shallow water (St. Venant). All attendees also receive a 30-day user license of FLOW-3D including tech support – an excellent value and opportunity to apply what you’ve learned on your own time to your own work.
