Designing and planning a new factory, there are many aspects to consider. One is that components are coated in a chemical bath for further processing.
Since the chemicals used for coating evaporate toxic fumes, the entire coating process takes place in a closed tank, which has an opening for introducing and removing the components into the bath from which the toxic gases escape.
As the working areas of the employees are located between the different coating basins, it is necessary to remove the gases.
CFD simulations can help in investigating the factory layout and HVAC designs to determine the best configuration for gases and pollutants removal. By participating, you will learn:
- How to use CFD to investigate the total flow rate of all inlets/outlets as well as the pollution rate
- How to ensure that the contamination inside the workers breathing zone is below the threshold value
- How to reduce the mass flow, which is necessary to keep the contamination below the threshold
- How to get easy, cost-efficient access to cloud-based CFD simulation
If you can’t attend the live session, we still encourage you to register so that you receive the recording of the webinar.
