Description:
14th International Conference on Computational Fluid
Dynamics In the Oil & Gas, Metallurgical and Process
Industries:
Trondheim, Norway - June 9-11, 2020
SINTEF is pleased to announce the 14th international
conference in this series. The conference will focus on
the application of CFD in the oil and gas industries,
metal production, mineral processing, power generation,
chemicals, other process industries and biomedical
applications. The conference is organized in cooperation
with CSIRO. Previous conferences have been organized in
Melbourne, Australia and Trondheim, Norway.
This time we particularly invite papers on the following
topics:
CO2 reduction technologies
Pragmatic industrial modelling
Metallurgical applications
Uncertainty quantification
Ocean plume modelling
Papers within the broader scope of the conference are also
welcome.
Objectives
The objective of the conference is to provide a forum to:
-Explore the breadth and application of CFD modelling in
the oil & gas, metallurgical and process industries.
-Identify and report on emerging CFD methods, capabilities
and applications.
-Identify limitations in the existing CFD capabilities and
validation sources.
The conference invites papers on the applications of CFD
in oil and gas, metallurgical, other process industries
and biomechanics within CFD Fundamentals and Methodology,
Flow & Chemistry, Measurements for CFD Validations and
Industrial Applications.
