Dear All
I am editing a book by titled "An Introduction to Direct Numerical Simulations of Turbulent Flows" published by Intech open.
I would like to invite the experts from academia, industry to contribute a chapter for the book.
Kindly write to me or visit at https://www.intechopen.com/welcome/158a3a0fdba295d21ff23326f5a072d5
About the book The essential subject matter of this book aims to be direct numerical simulation (DNS) and large eddy simulation (LES) of diverse fluid flow scenarios that arise in engineering and technology and the numerical needs arising from applications of DNS and LES. These DNS and LES have evolved very rapidly over the last few years as research tools. This book aims to encapsulate the fundamental techniques of DNS and LES that can be applied to understand and solve the practical problems in the field of flow motion, turbulence, and combustion. DNS has emerged as the most powerful numerical tool to understand the fundamentals of flow instabilities. It facilitates to understand the transition to turbulence at relatively low or moderate Reynolds number and also helps in understanding the turbulent flows with greater accuracy. The book aims to provide the fundamental knowledge on numerical techniques that are derived for DNS and LES such as high-order and high-fidelity discretization schemes.
