ASPHERIX®

The developers of LIGGGHTS® are excited to announce the release of a brand new DEM simulation software, Aspherix®. The tool combines an established base with numerous cutting-edge capabilities. It is the answer to the rapid developments in industry and our contribution to faster innovation by supporting process optimization, the creation of digital twins or advanced analyses.

Aspherix® is packed with features and we could list pages here. Here are some of the highlights: 6 DOF SOLVER, POWDER COMPACTION, COHESION MODELS, LOADBALANCING, SPRAY COATING, COUPLING INTERFACES)

Aspherix® also supports a large variety of particle shapes in order create the best possible digital twin for your use case: CONVEX TRIANGULATED, FIBER AND BONDED, CONCAVE TRIANGULATED, MULTISPHERE, SPHERE, BOX, CYLINDER AND ELLIPSOID.

The Components of Aspherix® are a strong simulation engine for DEM, easy to use GUI for DEM and GUI workflow for coupled CFDE-DEM simulations. Aspherix® runs on desktop machines, clusters and clouds.
