Efficient flow and structure simulation based on open-source solver technology

The new release of the pre-processing system CastNet supports the coupling between OpenFOAM (CFD) and CalculiX (CSM) via the coupling tool preCICE for fluid structure applications. PreCICE provides high-quality mapping functionalities and allows efficient implicit and explicit coupling with different relaxation methods. Learn more: http://www.dhcae-tools.com/preCICE.html

The new release also provides native CAD modeling functionality for Acis and Parasolid based geometry import.

The export functionalities have been extended by the current versions of the OpenFOAM Foundation (version 7) and ESI-Group (19* versions).

About CastNet:

The pre-processing system CastNet supports for more than 10 years the use of open-source solver technology by graphical user interfaces, CAD based high-quality meshing and monitor functions during simulation. CastNet supports both the latest and many older OpenFOAM versions of the OpenFOAM Foundation, ESI-Group and also Windows versions of BlueCFD.
