Dr Adrian Gaylard joins the ISCFD lecture series for another
lively lecture concerning automotive aerodynamics.
Description:
Wheels, Wakes and Automotive Aerodynamics.
Can you think of a better way to finish the week other
than gain fresh insight into the intricate world of
automotive aerodynamics delivered by one the world's
leading experts? Us neither.
Join us on Friday 11 December at 16:00 GMT to learn more.
Dr Adrian Gaylard is Jaguar Land Rover’s Technical
Specialist in Computational Aerodynamics, with
responsibility for simulation processes, methods
development and research. His interests are drag
reduction, unsteady aerodynamics, surface contamination
and computational aeroacoustics. Adrian has a doctorate in
unsteady flow, vehicle surface contamination and
aerodynamic drag (University of Warwick). He is a
Chartered Engineer and Chartered Physicist, the Chair of
the Aerodynamics Activity at the SAE, Chair of the EPSRC
National Wind Tunnel Facility (NWTF) Advisory Board, Chair
of the European Car Aerodynamics Research Association
(ECARA) and a Visiting Fellow in Vehicle Aerodynamics at
Loughborough University.
