optimization process for axial contra-rotating fans. The  

speakers will present application of TURBOdesign tools for  

the preliminary multi-blade row design of the axial fan where  

the rpm and pressure rise repartition of the different stages  

are varied. The results of the preliminary design work are  

shown to be in excellent agreement with 3D CFD validating the  

overall design process and solution.
