and Defense (External Aerodynamics), Water and Environment
(Multiphase) and Thermal Management (Conjugate Heat

simulation; CFD results analysis 

2. Ubuntu; basic Linux commands; Ubuntu file structure 

3. Installation and testing; running a simple CFD case using  

OpenFOAM; OpenFOAM file structure; saving CFD data 

4. Structured and unstructured meshing; graded meshing; mesh  

refinement; snappyhexMesh for external CAD files, dynamic  

meshing 

5. ParaView; Data visualization; Iso-surfaces; Volumes;  

plots; custom calculators; animations 

6. Parallelization; code customization and compilation 

 

Day-2 

7. Industry-specific relevant physics 

8. Full-fledged industry case study
