Women in Engineering

Cadence is proud to be sponsoring the Women in Engineering Networking Program at the ASME Turbo Expo.

Virginie Barbieux, Senior Product Engineering Manager at Cadence, will talk during the Women in Engineering dinner event about gender equity at workplaces, discuss about the growing number of women in senior management positions, and address different means of reinforcing a sense of belonging towards fellow women engineers at the workplace.

Virginie has a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in fluid dynamics, and her interest in CFD has helped her develop a career in the same. According to her, "There is no doubt that women engineers perform equal or better than their male counterparts at work." This is definitely going to be an exciting session for all the women engineers out there!
