The 2023 CONVERGE Academic Competition is now open. Participating graduate students will design and run a novel simulation using CONVERGE, competing for cash prizes. Throughout the competition, students will have access to support, licensing, and training opportunities.
Final project submissions will be judged by a panel of experts on a variety of criteria, such as how well the simulation reflects the real world, the engineering knowledge demonstrated by the case, and the novel contribution of the project to the engineering community. Simulations can be entered in one of four categories: reacting flow and chemistry, conjugate heat transfer (CHT), multi-phase flow, or fluid-structure interaction (FSI).
The deadline for application submissions is December 15, 2022.
