Software Cradle Plans its Fall 2013 Training Seminar Schedule

Posted By: Eri Sakurai
Date:Sun, 14 Jul 2013, 11:08 p.m.

Upon completion of its training seminars in July, Cradle will break in August and resume again in September 2013 with several seminars being offered in Detroit, MI.

scSTREAM - Building and Architecture (9.10-11)

This seminar focuses on use of Cradle's general purpose, structured grid CFD software scSTREAM for building and architectural applications. scSTREAM offers unique capabilities for the building and architecture industries including direct importation of ArchiCAD and Revit design data, and ability to accommodate models as large as 1 billion elements using the parallel, HPC (High Performance Computing) edition.

scSTREAM for Electronics (9.12-13)

This seminar is devoted to showing how scSTREAM can be used to solve thermal problems typically encountered during the electronics product design process. In addition to learning about the basic operation of scSTREAM, sessions will include radiation, periodic heating, thermal circuit model, and utilizing Gerber Data.

SC/Tetra Basic Seminar (9.16-17)

This seminar is focused on SC/Tetra, Cradle's flagship general purpose, unstructured grid CFD software. SC/Tetra is recognized for its robust preprocessor with integrated geometry repair tools, flexible and controllable hybrid grid generator, exceptionally fast meshing speed, powerful physical models, a fast and memory efficient solver, professional quality post-processing tools, and stand-alone viewer.

SC/Tetra Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) (9.18-19)

This two day course teaches how to solve Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) problems using SC/Tetra and Abaqus. The course includes step by step instructions on how to set up a two way FSI problem and includes a separate discussion dedicated to identifying the important steps needed to verify the accuracy of an FSI simulation.
