CFD Support from Prague, Czech Republic (cfdsupport.com) and CFturbo Software and Engineering GmbH from Dresden, Germany (cfturbo.com) have signed an agreement to collaborate in virtual prototyping, conceptual design and simulation of Turbomachinery.

According to today’s announcement a strategic partnership between the two companies has been started to integrate, to market and to sell jointly their software packages CFturbo® and Turbomachinery CFD for virtual prototyping of Turbomachinery components.

The major goal is to develop an efficient, user-friendly and cost-effective software solution for various Turbomachinery applications. End users will benefit from a new, seamless workflow for design & simulation.

CFturbo Software & Engineering GmbH is an engineering company offering software and CAE-consulting services for design, simulation and prototyping of turbomachinery components. CFD Support is a consulting company for Computational Fluid Dynamics dealing with CFD at all levels from software development to consulting services. Many of their solutions are based on open-source, especially on OpenFOAM®. CFD Support’s product is CFD simulation software “Turbomachinery CFD”, which is open-source CFD workflow for simulating of many kinds of rotating machinery based on OpenFOAM®.
