ADT Sponsors FAN 2015: International Conference on Fan Noise, Technology and Numerical Methods

Posted By: Advanced Design Technology
Date:Tue, 17 Mar 2015, 2:48 p.m.

>LONDON, UK and NEW YORK, NY, USA – 17 March , 2015 – Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign Suite is delighted to announce attendance and sponsorship of FAN 2015 in Lyon, France on 15-17 April 2015.

FAN 2015 includes 3 days of technical presentations, keynotes, an exhibition, social networking events and panel sessions. If you are involved in the Fan industry, this is a must attend event. It offers you the opportunity to learn how to design more-efficient fans by integrating computational methods developed by the aerospace industry into the design process. The design of fans will continue to evolve to meet the ever-increasing demands for higher-efficiency machines, combined with the requirements for lower noise and high availability.

Session D2 between 16:00 and 17:15 on Thursday 16th April focusing on Theoretical & Numerical Methods for Centrifugal Fans. Professor Mehrdad Zangeneh, Founder and Managing Director at ADT, as well as Professor of Thermofluids at University College London co-authored “Automotive Blower Design with Inverse Method Applied on Wheel and Volute” paper presented in this session. It will be presented by Manuel Henner, Valeo Thermal Systems (France) and feature designs from TURBOdesign Suite.

ADT will also be exhibiting at the event, visit stand 1 in the exhibition hall to find out how TURBOdesign Suite can help increase fan efficiency.

”Many fans & blowers manufacturers face today the challenges of considerably improving the fans efficiency to meet the European EcoDirective requirements, while end users require quieter systems”, says Prof. Zangeneh, Founder and Managing Director of ADT, “we help fan manufacturers adopt and implement design methods and optimization systems to help improve the fans & blowers performances, reduce noise and development / production costs.”

Registrations for the event are now open for limited places, for more information please visit http://www.fan2015.org

TURBOdesign Suite System Requirements, Availability and Pricing
TURBOdesign Suite 5.2.5 is now available for download, the Suite runs on Windows systems. It operates on mid-range workstations with 2.4 Ghz or better processors, 2 GB RAM and 1Gb disk space. The TURBOdesign Suite is sold in modules starting from $15,000 USD with software training and technical support included.

About Advanced Design Technology
Advanced Design Technology (ADT) is a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods, which helps not only to shorten development time but also to improve the performance of turbomachinery components. ADT’s aim is to put designers in direct control of the aerodynamic design and to shorten, considerably, the design time and time to market for a range of turbomachinery products. ADT’s clients, who represent some of the leading global players in the aerospace, automotive, power generation and marine fields, have achieved significant returns on investment in terms of reduction in design times, higher performance and ease of know-how transfer among different design teams and projects.
