FLOW-3D Cast Webinar: A Low Pressure Die Casting Validation at Versevo

Please join Flow Science engineers for a free webinar that will show how to effectively simulate filling and solidification of a part with low pressure die casting (LPDC) using FLOW-3D Cast. This validation will compare actual short shots of a large, 38lb, aluminum casting with simulation results. Many thanks to Versevo Inc. for providing the part and their facility to carry out the experimental portion of this study. Versevo Inc. (formerly Pattern Technologies) provides a wide range of products and services including low pressure permanent mold castings, lost foam tooling, and diecast tooling. As part of this exercise, we will also show how to reduce simulation runtimes and discuss what parameters are important to accurately model LPDC processes.
