Interview Survey on the Value of Cloud-based Parallel CFD

Dear CFD Online community,

If we can provide instantly available, massively parallel CFD service in the cloud, would you consider purchasing the service?

I am an associate professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT. As part of an NSF-funded effort to democratize parallel scientific computation via the cloud, we are conducting interviews with current and potential users of cloud-based, massively parallel CFD. Our task is to put together a user value proposition, describing why you would use potential parallel CFD services in the cloud, how much value that would provide you, and what technology can increase its value.
