I am trying to reproduce the wing - body tutorial given in ANSYS ICEM CFD 14 training material. Every things else is fine including density box, volume meshing and smoothing. But I am not able to get the the shell meshing as given in the included file. At leading edge autoblock is used as instructed in tutorial.
My mesh seems like this : Last edited by Far; May 15, 2012 at 13:02. Reason: pics |

Far you have great experience in Structured meshing and you are facing problem in simple unstructured meshing, feels odd
well i exactly dont know the solution but once i came across this problem for another geometry but when i changed my file import from acis to parasolid or vice-versa(as i dont remember exactly), the problem gets solved but it was just a good luck |

Actually this was done to record the youtube tutorials, and finally I solved the problem. Now this problem is solved. http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ans...tra-prism.html
Rigth now I am working on the youtube clip regarding NACA 0015 wing with hexa meshing. |
