geometry.zip Hello, I am being driven mad by DM/Meshing. I have been trying to set up a conformal mesh over my whole geometry which consists of a disk (with a whole in the middle as I have subtracted the hub) inside a large oblong channel domain (also with the hub extracted). I have attached both my DM and mesh files. I have also set up a series of nested cylindrical bodies of interest to refine my mesh size further. I had no issues when I wasnt dealing shared topology/parts but now I want my mesh to link nicely between regions. It all works fine until I get to my disk region. Nothing I do will make the mesh conformal across the disk to channel. I have tried grouping parts (all at once and/or in smaller groups), cutting the disk out of my channel and bodies of interest and setting contact region spacings, nothing works. If anyone could tell me where I am going wrong that would be great! thanks in advance! Susan |
