Hello,
I need help on how to model a spring element in ANSYS Design Modeler and ANSYS AQWA. Im need to perform a splash zone analysis of vessel lifting a subsea module into sea water. Can I know how do i model a spring element to imitate the behaviour of Heave Compensator in AQWA? I saw a post from a company called safelink which perform the splash zone crossing using AQWA with a heave compensator. Basically the HC need to be modeled so that it can counter the force in Z director to ensure the sling doesn't slack or become too tension. Appreciate if someone can give me the answer to this problem. Here I attached the link for your references http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_ZvCZwyZPg |
