HI guys
I am working on a project in which I am simulating fluid flow in a 2D scramjet combustor. I used Ansys design modeler to create a rectangular combustion chamber with a triangular strut in the middle. I am trying meshing using the Ansys Meshing tool. I have given a face size of 0.25mm and inflation of 2.5e-03mm with a 20% growth rate and for 20 layers. The software does the meshing but says " Invalid geo element encountered meshing aborted" but it displays a mesh. When I simulate it in fluent after about 80 -100 iterations it is diverging. I am not able to make out if the problem is with the mesh or with the geometry. Please help. |

Did you try to improve the mesh in Fluent? Mostly that helps.
