Hi all

I am just wondering if it possible to split the rotor blade that I have meshed in Turbogrid.

I would like to separate the blade surface into the 4 surfaces; Leading edge, Suction side,Pressure side and Trailing Edge.

Currently, the blade surface is generated as a whole not divided into the above-mentioned sections.

Really appreciate any help.

Best
Ahmad

Hi Far

Thank you for your reply.

Do you mean I have to export the mesh from Turbogrid to ICEM?

Yes, ICEM gives me better control of the density of the grid points.

My initial domain is meshed using ICEM but I need a fast way to generate the mesh since I am working on optimization of the geometry.

Anyways, I just found out how to import the mesh to ICEM.
