How can I achieve the mesh around a compressor blade like this one?

Dear all,
I have a compressor blade with a very high (negative) angle of attack and so been trying different strategies to achieve a good mesh quality (orthogonal quality). Until I saw this example (attached). I tried to follow what is in the picture using the known tools in ICEM but without success. I have a simple question, how can I achieve a blocking strategy like the one attached? I believe that this is NOT done by simply splitting the block and then o-gridding the middle one. Could you please help? PS - I have encircled the block of interest with a red circle. |

I`m not sure this is what you are looking for but what I would do is:
split the blocks as indicated in the first picture. delete the blue block and o-grid the pink block Than, as I`ve tried to indicate in the second image, merge the 2 vertices as seen in the image. Hope this helps |
