I am unable to enable Large model support.
The button to turn it on is inactive.
Can anyone help please?

Start with a completely new geometry. When you open the DM you will be able to switch on the large model option. It worked for me.

Yes absolutely, just before applying the "generate" on geometry; as soon as Design Modeler open Large Problem Support need to be enabled.
