Hi. I'm new to ICEM, and I'm trying to create a 2D mesh.
I am getting this error: "WARNING: Mesh has uncovered edges. ANSYS Fluent needs a complete boundary (lines in 2D) are not associated with perimeter curves ". I tried everything that I found in this forum, and I associated the edges with the curves. As you can see, in the picture, the mesh lines are (I think) well done. How can I solve? Thanks! |

Hi Davide,
after you have converted the premesh into unstructured, you can use the Check mesh feature, to look for uncovered faces (and many other problems). You'll find it in the Edit mesh tab. There you can uncheck all but the uncovered faces checkbox. Check mesh might ask you to create a subset of mesh elements with found uncovered elements. Accept. Then you can go into the Object tree and hide the mesh and only show the new subset containing the uncovered elements. Best, Sebastian |
