[ICEM] o-grid in ICEM CFD

Default o-grid in ICEM CFD

i am newbie to ICEM CFD. while blocking, when i try to create o grid on one of the block, it is creating extra edge on the face of another block.

Please find the attached screenshot.

My objective to create o grid on one of the block. Please help me with it.

Hi Rajdeep,

it seems, you have not deleted the block in the gap permanently.

If you delete a block without activating the option for permanetly deletion, then this block will be moved to VORFN instead. This way, the interconnection is maintained (in axial direction in your case).
If you want to break the link, you need to delete the block which was in that gap permanetly.
To do that, activate the VORFN part and try to locate that "deleted" block in the gap.

If the link still there the ogrid you created downstream will be created through the whole blocking in that direction. You might see this phenomena when you draw your premesh and observe the mesh at the face of the wedge.
