Hello everyone,
I have simulated 2D NACA 0018 airfoil with 1m chord length at 14.24x10^6 reynolds number and 0.6 mach. I have done quadrilateral structured mesh. From check mesh option, I have found the minimum face area as 4.444515e-04 m2 and minimum volume area as1.794975e-06 m3 . Here value of wall function is y+ =30 and hence the wall spacing is 0.0000599m. I have two questions: 1. How the value of minimum face area is coming as 4.444515e-04 m2 and minimum volume area as1.794975e-06 m3 from fluent? I have only the value of chord length. 2. How could i get the minimum grid size value from Fluent? It is urgent. Thanks everyone! |
