Hello,
This should be an easy one for you folks experienced with DesignModeller. I come from an ICEM background so this is very easy to do there. Basically, I need to sketch out a complex sweeping path for a pipe system. It twists and turns in all planes. For example, 10m along the X direction, then 5m up in the Y direction and then changes to Z direction and travels for another 15m. Now, I cannot for the life of me figure out how I continue sketching from a XY sketch to a ZX sketch (if you know what I mean). I cannot select the end point of the XY sketch in the ZX plane to continue drawing my profile. In ICEM, I simply enter construction points at a XYZ location and connect them up using lines. I can't seem to figure out how to do that here either so I'm just using lines right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Quote:
1. Pick Construction (select the Point in Tree Outline). 2. Go to Details Views (Below the Model) and Select, Construction Point against Type. Select Manual Input against Definition. Enter the values of all three coordinates. Lastly, Join the required Points and Enjoy. |
