Hi Community!
I am using ANSYS ICEM to generate the surface mesh and export the geometry as a keyword (.k) file, subsequently importing it into the LS-DYAN interface (for ICFD simulation). While all other parameters are defined in SI units (e.g., viscosity, density, inlet velocity, etc.), I wonder if would it be possible for me to import the geometry in the unit of millimetre, rather than meter? I know CFX and Fluent allow users to specify the unit applied to the geometry during importation. And in LS-DYNA, I attempted to use the *INCLUDE_TRANSFORM card with the length scale set to 1000 but somehow did not really work. Setting the unit in mm for all variables is a potential solution, but may require me to convert all parameter units from scratch. Thanks. |
