[ICEM] Mesh refinement -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

lost.identity Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 118 Rep Power: 17	What's the best method to refine the mesh at the regions of high gradients? What I do currently is to use the split the block near the region of high gradients and increase the number of nodes on the edge (whilst ensuring that the expansion ratio is less than 1.3) I'm wondering whether this is the best method to do it?
